FILOSOFI REWARD DAN PUNISHMENT DALAM PENDIDIKAN ISLAM

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan guna menganalisis reward dan punishment dalam perspektif pendidikan Islam. Pemahaman reward dan punishment yang tidak holistik dapat menyebabkan kesalahan fatal dalam proses pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mendeskripsikan implementasi reward dan punishment dalam praktik pendidikan. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah kualitatif dengan jenis library research. Riset ini mengajukan temuan bahwa penggunaan reward dan punishment harus sesuai dengan kaidah yang terkandung dalam ajaran Islam agar tidak menimbulkan masalah antara pendidik dan peserta didik. Dalam proses pemberian penghargaan perlu adanya motivasi kepada siswa agar dapat menjalani proses belajar dengan baik dan sesuai seperti yang diharapkan. Dalam praktiknya, pemberian hukuman dilakukan oleh pendidik dalam rangka mencegah peserta didik melakukan tindakan yang tidak sesuai aturan dalam Islam dan dalam tataran praktikal pendidikan.

Abstract: This study was conducted to analyze reward and punishment in the perspective of Islamic education. Understanding rewards and punishments that are not holistic can cause fatal errors in the educational process. Therefore, this study describes the implementation of reward and punishment in educational practice. The approach used in this research is qualitative with the type of library research. This research proposes a finding that the use of reward and punishment must be in accordance with the rules contained in Islamic teachings so as not to cause problems between educators and students. In the process of giving awards, it is necessary to motivate students to be able to undergo the learning process properly and as expected. In practice, the provision of punishment is carried out by educators in order to prevent students from taking actions that are not in accordance with the rules in Islam and at the practical level of education.
