MODERNISASI PENDIDIKAN ISLAM

Abstract

Modernisasi pendidikan Islam dipengaruhi oleh dua factor yaitu internal dan eksternal. Internal. adanya kebutuhan pragmatis umat Islam yang sangat memerlukan satu sistem yang betul-betul bisa memajukan pendidikan Islam; untuk mencetak manusia muslim yang berkualitas, professional, inovatif, berakhlak mulia, beriman dan bertakwa, kepada Allah SWT. Eksternal, terjadinya kontak peradaban Islam dengan dunia Barat. Sedangkan aspek-aspek yang dipembarui adalah lembaga pendidikan, kurikulum, metode, tenaga pendidik, dan perhatian terhadap siswa. Pola-polanya mengikuti perubahan orientasi ke pendidikan Eropa; memurnikan kembali pendidikan sesuai ajaran Islam dan timbulnya paham nasionalisme.

Abstract

The modernization of Islamic education is influenced by two factors, namely internal and external. Internals. there is a pragmatic need for Muslims who desperately need a system that can truly advance Islamic education; to produce qualified, professional, innovative, noble, faithful and pious Muslim human beings, to Allah SWT. Externally, the contact of Islamic civilization with the Western world. While the aspects that are updated are educational institutions, curriculum, methods, teaching staff, and attention to students. The patterns follow the changing orientation to European education; re-purifying education according to Islamic teachings and the emergence of nationalism.
